Ulysse Nardin
In 1846, after having completed his apprenticeship in watchmaking he decided to start at his birth place in Le Locle, Switzerland, his own business.
Specializing in the early days in marine chronometers and then into pocket chronometers.
Ulysse Nardin had won numerous recognitions for its marine chronometers from 1846 to 1975, including 4324 certificates, 2411 special prizes and 10 gold medals at International Exhibitions.
It is owned today by Kering group and their most famous models are the Freak, a musical mechanical watch called Stranger, the famous Grand Complication “Genghis Khan” and other sporty marine inspired wristwatches.
