Description
Cartier’s Tank Chinoise with Diamonds reference CRHPI01507 stands as an embodiment of Cartier’s artistry and reverence for luxury. Drawing inspiration from the timeless Chinese architectural masterpieces, this design first dazzled the world in 1922, echoing the splendor of China’s rich history.
Crafted with unmatched precision in Platinum 950, this watch is more than a timekeeper; it’s a symbol of unparalleled luxury, limited to a mere 20 pieces globally. Its face, illuminated by radiant diamonds, provides a tantalizing glimpse of the meticulously crafted skeletonized bridges covered in blue and red lacquer embellishing the manual winding 9627 MC Caliber beneath. This heart of the watch, which can be admired through the clear sapphire crystal back, boasts 160 components, inclusive of 23 precious rubies, promising a steady power reserve of about 36 hours.
Elevating its elegance, the platinum case, lugs, buckle, and crown are adorned with 162 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.77 carats. The 39.5mm case, reminiscent of grand Chinese gates, presents a beautiful play of polished diamond surfaces juxtaposed against horizontally brushed finishes. Its polished grey steel hands, mirroring ancient Chinese swords, further enrich its heritage story. The diamond-encrusted crown is a tribute to the era of Chinese emperors, perfectly complementing the watch’s radiant ambiance.
Completing this luxurious masterpiece is a soft alligator skin strap in elegant black, perfectly paired with a diamond-studded platinum ardillon buckle.
