The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea Challenge M126067-0001 has been crafted to withstand the most extreme underwater conditions, embodying the pinnacle of Rolex’s engineering prowess. Designed for professional divers, this remarkable timepiece has been built to venture into the deepest parts of the ocean, ensuring reliability and precision under immense pressure.

A robust 50 mm case, forged from RLX titanium, has been meticulously designed to provide unmatched durability while maintaining a surprisingly lightweight feel. The black ceramic bezel, marked with a 60-minute graduated scale, has been engineered for optimal functionality, allowing divers to accurately track their time underwater. The dial, featuring Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence, ensures that visibility is maintained even in the darkest depths.

The heart of this extraordinary watch is the Rolex calibre 3230, a self-winding mechanical movement that has been rigorously tested for precision and reliability. This movement, equipped with the Rolex-patented Chronergy escapement, has been designed to provide a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, ensuring the watch continues to perform flawlessly during extended dives.

A helium escape valve has been incorporated into the design, allowing the watch to withstand the decompression process after deep dives. The Oyster bracelet, crafted from RLX titanium, has been fitted with the patented Glidelock extension system, enabling divers to adjust the bracelet length easily and securely, even over a wetsuit.

The Deepsea Challenge has been tested to an incredible depth of 11,000 meters, showcasing its exceptional engineering and durability. Each timepiece is individually numbered and comes presented in a specially designed box that highlights its remarkable capabilities.

Rolex – bio

Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London, initially as Wilsdorf & Davis Ltd. Renamed Rolex by 1908 and moved its base of operations to Geneva, Switzerland in 1919.  Their success is due to their innovation namely the legendary “Oyster” case – first water resistant watch and their extremely reliable movements.
The most famous models are Datejust, Day-Date, Daytona, Explorer, GMT-Master, Submariner and many more.
The company is owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, a family private trust.
One story, never confirmed by Wilsdorf, recounts that the name came from the French words “horlogerie exquise”, meaning “exquisite clockwork”.
