Description

The Rolex GMT Master II 126719BLRO, commonly referred to as the “Pepsi,” is an iconic timepiece that embodies the heritage and innovation of the Rolex brand. With its distinctive blue and red bezel, it pays homage to its predecessor, the original GMT Master from the 1950s, which was designed for professional pilots and frequent travelers.

The 126719BLRO Pepsi is crafted from Rolex’s proprietary 18-karat white gold, offering a luxurious and elegant aesthetic. The use of white gold provides a lustrous finish while ensuring durability and resistance to tarnish. Its 40mm Oyster case is equipped with Rolex’s patented Triplock winding crown, guaranteeing water resistance up to 100 meters (330 feet).

The standout feature of the Pepsi GMT Master II is its bi-color ceramic bezel, which is a technical marvel in itself. The bezel, in vibrant blue and red, is achieved through a complex process involving the infusion of different colored ceramic materials. This remarkable achievement showcases Rolex’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of ceramic technology in watchmaking.

Powered by Rolex’s self-winding Caliber 3285 movement, the GMT Master II Pepsi offers outstanding precision and reliability. The movement incorporates the Parachrom hairspring, which is highly resistant to shocks and temperature variations, ensuring consistent timekeeping in any environment. It also boasts a 70-hour power reserve, allowing for uninterrupted performance even if not worn for a few days.

The dial of the 126719BLRO features the iconic Mercedes hands and luminescent hour markers, providing excellent legibility in all lighting conditions. The date window at 3 o’clock is equipped with Rolex’s signature Cyclops lens, magnifying the date for easy reading. The GMT function enables tracking of two time zones simultaneously, making it an ideal choice for frequent travelers.
