This timepiece launched in 2004, has a titanium case revealing a skeleton dial. The inner yellow bezel helps follow the central seconds hands striking. While hours & minutes hands with green decoration indicates the time on large arabic numerals. This color combination is a tribute to the Brazilian F1 driver Felipe Massa.
A semi-instantaneous date is visible at 7 o’clock next to the 6 o’clock red index. The spectacular titanium baseplate is visible from both sides as well as the engine-style motifs on it.
A black rubber strap will fix this beauty around any wrist for a comfortable experience an additional yellow band is also available.
Richard Mille – Bio
Richard Mille (born 13 February 1951, in France) started work at Finhor, a local watchmaking company in 1974. The company was bought by Matra in 1981 and Richard Mille rose to manage Matra’s watchmaking business, which then included the brands Yema and Cupillard Rième. Matra’s watchmaking activities were sold to Seiko, who Mille left in 1992 to start a watchmaking business for jewellery firm Mauboussin. In 1999 he founded the company Richard Mille SA in collaboration with Audemars Piguet. Its first product, the RM001 went on sale in 2001
