From 2001 when they introduced the RM001 tourbillon and 2007 when the RM011 was released, “RM” had already redefined modern-horology.
It was like Mr Mille created a category in itself, avant-garde watches using cutting-edge techniques+materials inspired by motorsports and aerospace.
The  RM011 is certainly the most recognisable model, its story and success has RM’s friendship with Brazilian driver, Felipe Massa.
Since then we saw RM011-01, RM011-02 and in 2016 the release of an upgraded version, bigger in size called RM11-03.
The classic tonneau case is emblematic of Richard Mille and its signature design, endorsing top athletes and answering their need for watches that resist extreme conditions, 2011 saw a revolution with the world’s lightest and shock resistant watch in the industry.  The RM27 collection developed for Rafael Nadal, to allow him to play during tournaments with his watch.  Since then the carbon fiber cased RM27-01, RM27-02 and RM27-03 versions were released, all limited to 50 pieces & ultra-ultra-light.

*The present model is the Richard Mille RM59-01 Yohan Blake, reference RM59-01
A great fusion between a work of art and watchmaking using surprising materials. All this combined to be a tribute to one of the fastest man in the world – Yohan Blake. The case and the crown are made from a translucent composite composed of injected carbon nanotubes. On the bezel the distinguished screws are made in Grade 5 Titanium.
But the main feature is a fantastic tourbillon visible at 6 o’clock on the skeleton dial and the aluminium flange are hand painted yellow and green. A tribute to the Jamaican flag that gives a modern design and dimension to this limited edition.
The manual winding tourbillon movement visible from all angles, has a power reserve of 55 hours with standard hours & minutes.
All these features added to a comfortable rubber or textile strap are made to marry perfectly the sprinter’s wrist and some lucky “athletes”.

** Limited Edition of only 50 pieces **
