The watch’s white gold case is 38 mm and showcases a scintillating enamelled dial in black, created from 18K gold. Adorned with stunning scrolling arabesques, the contrasting matt elements with an awe-inspiring sleek surface, bring a riveting aesthetical touch. Moreover, the dial’s applied hour markers in a lozenge shape are fashioned from white gold, featuring two elements and delicate leaf-motif hands, crafted from white gold too. The smaller seconds hand sits on a second dial at 6 o’clock.

The timepiece’s self-winding movement is of a caliber R 27 PS and has a total of 342 movement parts. Its mini rotor is crafted from 22k gold, with a frequency of 3 Hz, and a 43 to 48-hour power reserve. Flanked by two gongs activated by a sliding element on the left side, its mechanism is one for the history books. The complication lets this chic watch strike hours, minutes, and quarters whenever required.

The Patek Philippe 5078G-010 has two casebacks that are interchangeable for increased versatility. One caseback is in solid white gold, while the other is a sapphire crystal to see its inner workings.

Patek Philippe & Co. was founded in 1839, located in Geneva and the Vallée de Joux. It designs and manufactures timepieces and movements, including some of the most complicated mechanical watches. In 1868, Patek Philippe made their first wristwatch, which was sold on November 13, 1876 to the Hungarian Countess.
