The Cartier Baignoire WB520025 stands as a paragon of grace, encapsulating Cartier’s legacy in creating horological masterpieces. Infused with the brand’s timeless aesthetics, the Baignoire collection draws inspiration from a classic bathtub shape, hence its French nomenclature “Baignoire,” meaning bathtub. Born in the vibrant 1910s, the design matured during the swinging ’60s, fusing together Cartier’s rich history with the modernity of contemporary design.

Delicately cradling the wrist, this watch showcases an elongated oval case made of 18k rose gold, which beautifully contrasts with the brilliant-cut diamond-set bezel, emanating a soft, luminescent glow. The dial, painted in a pristine silvery white, remains untouched by the march of time—serene and uncluttered. It features elegant Roman numerals, staying true to Cartier’s signature style, with the iconic blue-steeled sword-shaped hands gracefully tracking time.

Driven by the precision of a manual winding movement, the Baignoire WB520025 is more than just a watch; it’s a statement of meticulous craftsmanship. The watch’s case back, seamlessly integrated, echoes Cartier’s dedication to perfection in every detail.

Secured by a sophisticated alligator leather strap in a rich taupe hue, it complements the watch’s classic aura, making it versatile enough to transition from day to night. The ardillon buckle, adorned with a brilliant-cut diamond, adds a touch of sparkle, resonating with the dial’s luxurious allure.

The Cartier Baignoire WB520025 isn’t merely an accessory; it’s a work of art. Each curve and facet tells a tale of Cartier’s dedication to merging superior craftsmanship with unparalleled style. A watch designed not just to tell time, but to reflect the sophistication of the wearer, this masterpiece reminds us why Cartier remains an unchallenged luminary in the world of luxury watchmaking.

Cartier – Bio

Founded by Louis-Francois Cartier in 1847, the house of Cartier is the luxury jewellers by reference in France.
Jewellers of the royal family and their prominent entourage, they quickly acquired fame in Europe. Later Louis Cartier gave a second life to old watchmaking traditions with pieces like the mystery clocks, gem-set watches and other flamboyant pieces.

One of their iconic models called the Santos was made in 1904 for his friend and client the aviator from Brazil, Alberto Santos-Dumont.   Followed by other successful models like the Tonneau in 1906, the Tortue in 1912 and the famous Tank in 1919 to mention few. The brand stayed in the family until 1964 and is now owned by a Swiss watch group.
