Description

The Vacheron Overseas collection was brought back to life in 2016 and is an ode to wanderlust. With traveling and the vastness of the world as inspiration, taking cues from François Constantin, the collection goes back to the brand’s founding roots. Personifying sporty chic, with an incredible interchangeable bracelet and strap, it’s ideal for daily wear.

Vacheron is renowned for its sporty yet elegant watches and was a leader in this niche during the 19th century’s end. The predecessor of the current Overseas collection truly took off in the 1970s, featuring reference 222 of 1977. It showcased all the markers of a sports watch, with 120-meter-water resistance. The piece has taken on new shapes and forms since then, with a reinvention in 2016.

The Vacheron Overseas reference 4500V/110A-B128 with a blue dial is just what adventurous watch collectors need. Fashioned from steel, the watch features an automatic movement, and a 22K gold oscillating weight. This facet takes after the wind rose and pays homage to a traveler’s spirit.

Sitting on the bezel and bracelet is a Maltese cross, a signature of Vacheron Constantin. The case is 41 mm in diameter and 11 mm in thickness and showcases a transparent caseback in sapphire glass. Its Calibre 5100 is self-wending with a thickness of 4.7 mm, 172 parts, 37 jewels, and an incredible 60-hour power reserve. Time indications are in hours and minutes, with calendar and seconds complications.

As a staple of the Overseas collection, it has a clasp that facilitates changing between three straps, in leather, stainless steel, or dark blue rubber and leather.

This example is under factory warranty and comes with its complete set as well as the two additional rubber and leather straps.
