Description
The history and heritage of Scuda Ferarri starts on 16th November 1929. Beginning humbly in Modena’s Della Fontana, Italy, the directors at the time were Enzo Ferrari, Ferruccio Testi, Augusto Caniato, and Alfredo. Now, it’s the racing division of the foremost opulent automotive manufacturer Ferrari. Its iconic horse logo and racing team have left a legacy for generations, finding its way into watchmaking too. After all, time and racing are intertwined on the deepest levels.
Hublot and Scuderia Ferrari have been in a long-standing relationship, producing marvels over generations. The Big Bang Scuderia Ferarri 90th Anniversary watch is an homage to the two brands’ collective history, infusing emblematic motifs of both. Showcased through three limited editions, the collections are a nod to car racing materials and how they transform into captivating timepieces. Simultaneously, Hublot’s 38mm to 44mm Big Bang collection merges traditional brand design with contemporary materials, surpassing innovation in watchmaking.
Each edition, coming in a 45mm diameter, hones a flyback chronograph with a 72-hour power reserve. The bezel, taken after Formula 1 brake discs, is crafted with ceramic carbon.
The Hublot Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary Sapphire is the third edition of this spellbinding collection. Fashioned in a transparent scratchless sapphire case, it takes innovation to new heights. The material is not easy to manipulate and offers a next-gen, futuristic aesthetic. Its skeleton dial lays its inner workings bear, complemented by bold grey numerals, and finished with a classy red sub-dial, aptly placed at 3’o clock.
The primarily monochrome look is further enhanced by a Kevlar-style strap. The wearer feels transported to the future and a vital part of where technology’s headed.
Every piece is packed in a stylized box which includes an extra strap, certificate, warranty, and watch-related papers.
